Quantity, expiry and withdrawal status are re-checked when the sale is submitted, not only in the browser. A stale tab cannot oversell.

Each sale posts its own entries
Revenue is recognised and inventory is relieved at the dispensed batch’s own cost, so gross margin is correct per sale rather than estimated at month end.

Reversals are entries, not edits
A cancelled or returned sale posts a balancing entry. The original stays readable, which is what an audit needs.

Signed-in users reach this module at /dashboard/pos. Access depends on the role your System Administrator assigned — permissions are checked on every request, so a role that cannot use a module cannot reach it by URL either. The roles are listed on the about page.
